"VIGAN CITY 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD"

What are you waiting for? Come, as we quickly take tour back at the past. Come and be part of The Timelessly Beauty of Vigan!

Vigan, the UNESCO colonial city, the capital of Ilocos Sur province located on the western coast of the island of Luzon in the Philippines features well-preserved Spanish-era architecture and every year attracts more than a million of local and foreign visitors.
Vigan is a small city charmingly combining the colonial and peaceful atmosphere you will unlikely find anywhere else in the Philippines with traditional noise and buzz of Asian cities.
There are at least three main reasons why you should consider to visit Vigan. Firstly, Vigan is the best-preserved planned Spanish colonial city in Asia and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage List; secondly, the cobblestone streets of well-restored Calle Crisologo are traffic free which is such a relief when traveling in Asia so you can focus only on sightseeing and do not worry about your life all the time; and thirdly, fresh empanadas on the night market are too good to give Vigan a miss.

As we walked or passed by at night in Plaza Salcedo Vigan City, there is "Dancing Fountain"                                                     that start's around  7:30 in the evening.

The dancing fountain are very nice tourist attraction offered for free by the local government. A very good sequence of music with fountains being used to enhance the sound. A variety pf colorful makes this a great experience. Get there early for a good seat.

To those who have never tasted Empanadas here in Vigan, come and taste the delicious Empanada that very popular here in Vigan City.

The Vigan "Empanada" is delicious and filling especially with vinegar and ketchup. So buy it and taste it and  if you like it buy it again so that when you are hungry while travelling at home you will have something to eat or have a snack. :))))

AFTER WE ATE THE EMPANADA, LET'S GO TO THE MOST VISITED PLACE BY TOURISTS. THIS IS CALLED " CALLE CRISOLOGO" AND HERE WE CAN SEE  THE BEUTIFUL OLD HOUSES.

Why should we visit "Calle Crisologo"?  Calle Crisologo is an interesting street where one can wander for hours. Lots of local products for sale such as antiques, woven products, chicharron, sweets, Vigan vinegar, woodcrafts, empanada and bagnet. This street is closed to vehicular traffic.

A great way to experienced this by gone era to hire a calesa which will cost you a meagre 150php per hour. We did both a day time and a nighttime tour and thoroughly enjoyed both.

ENJOYYY VISIITING HERE IN VIGAN NEXTT TO THE "HIDDEN GARDEN" AND "BALUARTE" NEXT TIME AGAIN! COME BACK HERE AGAIN, SAFE TRAVEL AND GO HOME AND TALK ABOUT HOW BEAUTIFUL VIGAN CITY IS. TAKE CARE ALWAYS!!
